Hi I'm Samuel Raia

Grew up in Van WA. Mission to Montevideo Uruguay. Current BYUI student majoring in business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Samuel I live a pretty active life style. I especially like to rock climb, play soccer, and golf. I was captain of my soccer team and addition to club, I played three years of high school varsity. As of right now I'm preparing to serve a mission in the Montevideo Uruguay West mission and the process has been amazing. I'm an eagle scout. I attend BYUI and I'm majoring in business with a minor in finance. I truly believe the hardest things in life are the most rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I was born in to the Church and have spent my life learning about the gospel. It has brought me such joy and happiness. It has taught me how to set goals. It has taught me how to pray to my Father in heaven. I have found a closeness to my Savior Jesus Christ. My Family is everything to me and I know how to be with them forever. I am excited to give to years of my life to serving the Lord. I am Samuel Jacob Raia and I'm a mormon!

How I live my faith

Participating in the church is huge. It's important to do all the little things like go to church or read your scriptures. It's not always easy to stay on top of it but it truly makes a difference. Growing up I've been put in a lot of leadership roles in my quorums which has helped me among my peers. Home teaching is a challenge due to having to find a time that works for three different parties but its a doable task. It's quite rewarding knowing you help out another family.
