Hi I'm Kent Broadbent

One of the 10,600 photographers/filmmakers in Utah County. I'm serving a mission in Norway. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love making films. It's mine and my brother's unhealthy obsession. I have had the opportunities to compete in multiple festivals and competitions and was selected to present in the High School State Film festival in 2014. I am also an amateur photographer. You can tell because my pants are rolled up. I played Lacrosse for three years in High School and was the tech rep for student council. I graduated from Timpanogos High School. I love music. I play the ukulele, harmonica, guitar, and a couple songs on the piano. I love laughing which is super unique. My dream is to become an independent director with my brother. My family are my best friends and I'm so thankful I can live with them forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes it's hard to say you know something religious is 100% true. A lot of times it feels like it's too good, like someone had to have made it up. But then there are those times that you know, you can feel it's true. Those are the times that I hold on to and base my testimony off of. There will always be doubts, there would be no point in faith if doubt was never an option. On my mission I have realized that you could take all of the smartest people in the world and put them in a room with their respective religious texts and no one would agree. No one can study their way into knowing things of eternity. That is what makes our church unique. We are led by a living prophet. A church needs genuine guidance from God to be true. Someone to say with authority "thus sayeth the Lord." THAT is what we have.

How I live my faith

I am now serving in Norway as a full time missionary. Previously I had been a youth sunday school teacher, for the 12 year old age group. I recently had the opportunity to work with people that had rough lives and was able to share some of what I believe with them.
