Hi I'm Colby

I have grown up in Washington and love the outdoors and riding dirt bikes and mountain bikes and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up outside and trying to ride anything with a motor or wheels. I love racing down hill mountain biking and motocross. I also love working on my truck so i can get it dirty. I am going to school for Electrical Engineering and have also found a love for building and solving problems with electronics, though that love got its roots in car mechanics. I also love designing and building competition car stereo systems. My other hobbies include rock climbing, kayaking, R.C. rock clawlers, and just having a fun time. As you can tell i have a lot of interests but i wouldn't change a thing. I love exploring and just having a great time doing neat things. I have stopped my schooling my Senior year in order to serve a mission in Taipei Taiwan.

Why I am a Mormon

Why i have chosen to be a Mormon is actually pretty complex and has been the work of many years and many events. But to sum it up into a few things it is to help me become the person i want to be and to have God's guidance and hand in my life. I know that living the gospel principles has helped me many times in my life and i know that if i continue to do so i will be blessed accordingly. I have felt that i am happier when i am making right choices and life isn't about being. There is too much to be thankful for and happy about to be sad in this life and when i make good choices that becomes easier and easier for me to see. I love my Heavenly Father and all that he has given me and i know that he loves me too, even if i'm going through a rough time. It's easy for me to loose sight of this or my direction in life and the true and ever lasting gospel helps me to never loose that sight or start to head in the wrong direction.

How I live my faith

I love doing service activities in my community and looking for people in need. Though my schedule can get very hectic i often times will try to set apart time to help someone move or help maybe just help make some yard work go a bit faster. In Highschool and until i move to another state to go to college i often helped a local mountain biking group build trails in a public park that focused on sustainable and fun trails for the community and the forest around us.
