Hi I'm Carmen Gordichuk

I grew up in beautiful British Columbia. I love making awesome fruit and green smoothies. I love reflexology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love adventures, meeting new people and seeing new places. I lived in New Zealand for three years and fell in love with the South Pacific. I'm a social worker and primarily work in an Emergency Department. I am currently completing my master's degree in social work. I also teach English as a second language which is a lot of fun! I love animals and getting out in nature when ever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me so much peace, meaning, direction and purpose to my life. I love being a Mormon! God lives and He love you more than you could ever imagine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by taking things one day at a time. Sometimes life can feel very overwhelming and confusing. At times we need to make some pretty big decisions and it can be extremely difficult to know what to do. I try and do the small things everyday like reading my scriptures and praying to stay in tune with the Holy Ghost. Also, when I receive an answer to a prayer, I use a lot of faith and trust in my Heavenly Father that He is guiding me to where He wants me. Sometimes that can be challenging as people may not understand your decision. Sometimes it even takes us a while to understand our decision but what is most important is that it is the right decision for you and that we asked God for direction. I enjoy having deep and meaningful conversation with people especially about the gospel. It's so nice to know where I came from, why I'm here and where I'm going when this life is over. I always try to look for the positive in any situation and see how the Lord's hand is always in our lives. I use the quote my Mother said a lot when I was growing up "onwards and upwards".
