Hi I'm Tyler Larkin

I was born in Utah. I'm a juggler. I speak Japanese. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Hey, my name is Tyler. Right now I'm currently 18 years old. I'm serving a full-time volunteer position, but before I was just like any other highschool kid. I love sports (frisbee and soccer especially), motorcycling, serving, juggling, eating, and sleeping. One of my favorite activities though is doing stuff with my family. Whether is jumping on our trampoline, playing board games or video games or just talking, it doesn't matter to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a part of The Church of Jesus Chrsit of Latter-Day Saints or Mormom faith because I can not deny that it's true. When I was young I wasn't sure what was right and was wrong until I started noticing there has to be something more to life and I wanted to find that out. My parents have always been Members of the Mormon faith and encouraged me to find out for my self what was true. I knew only a greater being could give me that answer. I choose to pray to God to see what would happen. The feeling I got felt like it was just me thinking at first, but I later recognized it as an answer from God. I had already learned about Christ's teachings and seen the joy my parents found from it. I just needed to recognize that in my life. Now I know God is there. He is a God of love, and hope, and joy. He only wants the joy he feels in His life. It's through the teachings found in this church that we can recieve all that he has.

How I live my faith

I am always striving to live in a way that emulates Jesus Christ's example. In order to do that, I'm always trying to find ways to help others whether we're of the same faith or not. I've participated in many youth service projects as a youth of our young men's program, and am currently serving a 2 year full time service in Japan.
