Hi I'm Wilford

I grew up moving around and love talking to people. I am also a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college kid from the east coast about to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints. I grew up in Minnesota and in Kentucky. I came out west to pursue my education. I enjoy music and actually performed in prestigious world wide competitions. I love paintball and love a good competition. I enjoy good music and good group of friends. I love to drive a fast motorcycle. legally of course. and I enjoy working on a car. I could spent a lot of time in a car and installing a sound system or a good turbo. I love to actively serve my community and love to be outdoor. camping and going on atv trips are some of my favorite things to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't always use to be a goody two shoe. and im not sure that I am now. But I am Mormon because I took the challenge to find the most truth. I am Mormon and continue to be Mormon because when I pray and ask for truth on my own and when I am alone, I feel the confirmation in my heart the pierces my heart and to my soul that I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day saints is the true church God restored to this Earth. I Know through personal revelation from God himself that his power and authority are restored through true prophets of God to our generation. I do not believe God intends to just leave us here to fend for ourselves. God is at the head of this church and I know that to be true. The book of Mormon (another testament of Jesus Christ) is proof of this. if you have not truly read the book, I encourage and plead for you to read it. ask if it is true and I promise an answer will be received. God loves us. and we aren't alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a pure example of what I imagine Christ would be like. having studied his scripture and teachings, I feel compelled to do what he would have done. Each ward or congregation has a calling or a responsibility. I was called as a fellowship committee member. I did my best and served everyone who would walk in our chapel doors. I got to know other people and myself a lot more than I had expected. I began to see people as Christ would and didn't feel like I could judge anyone or anything that came through the door. we also have home teaching assignments where we have set families we are called to care for. I don't think ive ever loved people so much in my life. I have true friends and people who I feel love my companionship and people I truly love to serve and sometimes even be served by them.
