Hi I'm Abby

I love running, playing sports, and spending time in the sun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a middle child of 6 kids and I grew up in Idaho. I am a college student studying accounting, and preparing to serve a mission in Arizona. I love to play sports, especially soccer and lacrosse. I hope to travel to all the tropical places in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I was born and raised in the church, from a very young age I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. It was over time that I was able to gain a testimony of its principles and doctrines. When I wanted a testimony of various aspects of the gospel, I would pray to my Father in Heaven to have a witness for myself of their truth. Slowly over time I have been able to gain a testimony that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us. And they want us to return to live with them again. It is possible if we rely on the Lord and the tools He has provided for us, like the Book of Mormon and the leaders of the church and the Atonement. I'm so grateful for the knowledge that I have that the Lord has experienced everything I have, so I will not endure any challenge by myself. I know that the Lord is ready and willing to bless us if we will turn to Him. I know that everything happens for a reason, and if we are willing to listen the Lord will tell and guide us what we need to do. I know that through Joseph Smith, God was able to restore His gospel to the earth. And by being faithful, I will be able to live with my family and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. Because of this knowledge that I have, I am motivated to keep the commandments and do what God asks of me to the best of my ability.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in various callings throughout my life. When I was younger I was able to participate in presidencies of small groups of girls. When I went to school I was able to serve as the secretary for the presidency of the women in my ward. I will soon be serving a mission in Mesa, Arizona where I will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.
