Hi I'm Bryan Parker

I was born and raised in California, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a parent of 5. A 14 y/o son and 17 y/o daughter from a previous marriage, and 3 daughters (22, 24, and 26) inherited from my current wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a convert when I was 15, and it came at a critical time when I could have gone down a wrong path. I've renewed by faith recently, and choose to be Mormon. Our religion is the only one on earth that tells us where we came from and who we are. It teaches Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and it teaches that ALL mankind (past, present, and future) will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and the choice to either accept or not accept the blessings associated with it. It's amazing how many people have died without a chance to know the Gospel, and our Lord has put a plan in place to allow that. The LDS faith teaches that God loves us all, not just those that follow him, and He wants us to be happy.

How I live my faith

I just received the Melchizedek Priesthood and truly enjoy the blessings associated with helping others through the priesthood. I also an assistant Scout Master in our ward. Teaching these young men the Gospel and important life skills is truly a joy.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Bryan Parker
The best way to increase our faith in Jesus Christ is to 1) Pray daily, 2) Read the Scriptures, then 3) Obey His commandments. His commandments are not a burden, but are a safety net to help us be happy and to free and protect us from the bad things in the world. Show more Show less
