Hi I'm Taina Douglas

I grew up in Texas and recently moved back to Utah. I love learning and trying to understand foreign concepts. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am preparing to serve a year and a half mission in Paraguay, and I leave May 21st. This opportunity is a great one and I am working hard to balance school work and preparation, as I am in college right now. This balance has helped me in understanding what really occurs in preparation to serving the Lord. I have been a member all my life and am excited to dedicate the year an a half that I have in Paraguay to Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints this to me means living my life according to how the Lord would want too. I know that this church is true, which is why I am going to serve a mission and am putting my full support in the Lord.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a compassionate service committee member and I also have a visiting teaching calling. In everything that I have been called to I have been able to learn something about my self that is necessary to my own development. Whether or not I have been able to influence others is yet to be seen but I always try to live by example and provide reasons for why I live the way I do, because if I understand it myself I will be able to teach others the same.
