Hi I'm Jennifer

I am Canadian, and I love all of our beautiful seasons. The diversity of my country in landscape and culture is awesome.

About Me

I love to sing. I find great joy expressing feelings through music and bringing happiness to others. I enjoy singing with my daughter, doing solos or singing in choirs. I am a wife, mother of five, a daughter, a sister and an aunt. I love my family and extended family. I thrill to share memorable moments with my family and extended family. I want my family to know how much I love to cheer them on to know of their importance in our family unit.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I had wonderful examples of believers in my parents, who through their service, freely gave at church, served us with their examples at home and within our community. In my later teens I knew that I needed to make a decision to determine for myself "why I was a Mormon". It was a time of personal reflection and serious contemplation. My life was good and had been good, but I needed to be converted within myself to remain steadfast within the faith. After prayer and fasting, I felt that my prayers had been answered and have remained a faithful member. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is restored to the earth. The principles and ordinances that Jesus taught when he lived on the earth are now on the earth once again, with a living a prophet to administer truth to our Father in Heaven's children once more. These teachings bring me joy as my husband and I share these truths with my children and work together to help eachother return to live with our Father in Heaven again.

How I live my faith

I believe that my Saviour, Jesus Christ knows me and loves me. This brings me peace and hope in humanity because if He loves me, He loves all of Gods' children. His act of redemption to save and rescue Heavenly Father's children through His atonement is such a beautiful gift of mercy and love. I want to be the kind of person that extends the hand of friendship and hope to those I meet. I try to help others as I am able and inspired to serve.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons like to help others. The scriptures teach us that when we serve our fellowmen we are only serving our God. After serving we feel good and we know that the feeling we receive is a gift from the Holy Ghost witnessing to us that it is good, and our Father in Heaven is pleased with us. When we know this, we desire to feel good alot. Show more Show less
