Hi I'm Celeste Manumaleuna

Cali born Alaska grown. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a family of 7 and I absolutely adore them. I'm the youngest. Currently serving in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Mission and I'm loving it! I was attending BYU-Hawaii before and plan to go back to finish after my mission. I absolutely love fishing for salmon during the beautiful summers in Alaska with my family. I also love listening to all kinds of music...rap, reggae, motown, country, enya, gospel, and anything I can dance to. Chocolate is my ultimate weakness. I'm always down to cruise and I enjoy playing sports with friends and staying active. Fresh prince of Belaire and Beyoncé are my favorite. I love laughing, food, and smiling :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in the church, but even though I was raised in the gospel I still needed to gain my own testimony of it instead of depending on someone else's testimony. I'm a Mormon because I know I can live with my family forever after this life and we can live with Heavenly Father again. I can feel true and lasting peace and happiness with the gospel. Everyone goes at their own pace in their progression. The Savior has a perfect understanding of what every single person feels and goes through, He knows exactly how to help us. With that knowledge I know there's always a way to overcome any challenges we face.

How I live my faith

I'm a believer of the saying, "actions speak louder than words". Growing up I had the privilege to be raised in this gospel. My parents were great examples by teaching, but most importantly showing me how to live the principles of the gospel. One thing I needed to do for myself was to gain my very own testimony of the Book of Mormon. I've read it, prayed about it, and know that it is indeed true. I have the special opportunity to share what I know with others by serving a mission and helping others see that there is more.
