Hi I'm Cole Critchfield

I am a high school athlete. I have been called to Cambodia Phnom Penh mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Name is Cole Critchfield. I have been called to serve in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission. I will speak in the Cambodian language which is called Khmer (Kmai). I am a three sport Varsity Athlete and I live in Star Valley, Wyoming. I attend Star Valley High School. I have been very humbled by the opportunity to live in this town, as well as to serve the people of Cambodia. I love God with everything I have and trust in him with all my might mind and strength. I have 7 people in my family. My Mom and Dad, Ben and Hollie, Then one brother, chase, and three sisters Jaylie, Baylie, and Kaylie.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon for many reasons. First and foremost, my parents are LDS. I have grown up in the church my whole life and have always believed in the teachings of the prophets. Over the years I have grown to love the church. I have grown to love the teachings due to the fact that everything the church teaches us is for our protection. Things like drugs and alcohol and many addictions of the world are avoided through the church because the church protects us from them. The world looks at our commandments as rules or restrictions. We are free to choose what we want. The consequences only effect us. Lung Cancer, Mouth Cancer, and many other diseases and sicknesses come from those things that the world deems "Fun." I love the challenges that life presents in front of me because (Luke 1:37) I know that through god, "All things are Possible." I love God, My Family, and most importantly I love this gospel with everything I have.

How I live my faith

I am the first assistant to the bishop. In other words, I am a leader in the group I am apart of. I participate in many service projects in my community and organize many activities for my youth nights. I visit elderly people regularly as well as perform service in my community. I live my faith a lot through music including playing the piano, guitar, and ukulele. Music speaks to people in a way that not a lot of other things can. I love music and sharing my talent of music with people. I mostly do service in my community and help people with whatever they need.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Cole Critchfield
By being baptist we accept the calling of christ. We come unto him, and in doing so we become members of the church. Show more Show less
