Hi I'm Mike

I grew up in Utah and retired from the Military and Civil Service. I have been a Mormon since 8 years old.

About Me

I have been married 44 years and have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. I served 30 years in the military, 23 years in civilian service for the Department of Defense and 6 years as a senior consultant. I have travelled extensively and enjoy spending time in southern Utah. Now that I am retired I look for ways to serve others and continue to support my family when they need help.

Why I am a Mormon

I have essentially always been a Mormon. It seemed right from the time I was baptized at 8 years old until today. The doctrines, people, and callings have been great and faith promoting. I have experienced many situations where the Holy Ghost has bore witness this Church is true and I am doing what the Lord wants me too. I pray if you are investigating the Mormon's you will give it a chance because it can change your life for the better.

How I live my faith

Over the past 60 years I have served in many callings. I started as a home teaching companion, later a missionary, then worked in the young men's and scouting. As I grew older I received calls to leadership positions in the Wards I lived in in many of the Western States. Always having a calling has helped me grow and brought personal happiness from helping others.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mike
We live just like everyone else. We have some exceptions like not shopping or recreating on Sunday but we care about families, a job, and helping friends just like you and your neighbors. Show more Show less
