Hi I'm Kambria Pratt

I grew up in Southern California. I am a writer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an average LDS young adult. I grew up in Southern California, and I played many sports including soccer, water polo, dance, and swim during high school. I am currently attending BYU and I have been a member of this church all my life. I hope to eventually major in Psychology with a minor in Journalism. I am one of two kids, and I am the oldest child. My family only consists of me, my mom, and my sister. My father passed away about 2 years ago, and now it is just us three girls. I am 18, almost 19 years old, and I am just on the journey to adulthood and figuring out which paths I want to take.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon, because everyday I am showered with blessings and the strength to endure hard things. Many obstacles in my life have been given to me to test an strengthen my faith. As I endured whatever I was going through, I relied on the gospel and the spirit to help me overcome. I am Mormon, because I know without a doubt that the church is true, and if I know that, why would I not be involved and a member of tis church? I am a Mormon, because I could not imagine my life without the church. I am a Mormon, because I love my Savior, and I love my Heavenly Father, and I know that as I show my faith and love for them, I can live with them again.

How I live my faith

Someone once asked me, when was the moment that you knew the church was true? Due to the way that I live my faith, I cannot think of a time that I did not know. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, it is my duty to come to know my Savior Jesus Christ. With that said, I live my faith with diligence and understanding that as I do what is asked of me by God, then blessings and happiness will be granted to me. I live my faith as if I were to die tomorrow and meet my Heavenly Father. I feel as if that is the best way to live, because everyday I strive to live better and do the things that are asked of me. I live my faith, because when I die, I want to live with my Heavenly Father.
