Hi I'm Lily Dannelly

My dad was in the military, so I grew up all over the world. I love life, my family, and my fandoms. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an 18 year old college student in northwest Florida. I love music, reading, movies, art, vintage furniture, and the beach. My dream is to become an Imagineer at Walt Disney World or perhaps work as a makeup artist for the film industry. I'm not sure where this life will take me, but as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I'm confident that God will lead me exactly where I'm meant to be. :)

Why I am a Mormon

This Gospel brings so much peace and joy into my life - more than I can ever explain or comprehend. Being a Mormon helps me to know many plain and precious truths, such as God's love for me, His plan for me, and more. When I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I can feel God's love for me and I know without a doubt that everything will be okay, no matter what. Even though I grew up in the LDS church all my life, I wasn't always sure that it was the true church on the earth. It took a lot of searching and praying to truly know for myself, and although there are still things I don't fully know the answer to, with time and faith, I will know the meaning of those things better.

How I live my faith

My area just started up a young single adult group which meets on Sundays during the last two hours of church. Being united as young college students in Christ strengthens my testimony. The YSA group seemed a little intimidating at first, but everyone is so kind and welcoming no matter where you come from that I very quickly felt as though I was among brothers and sisters. Every Sunday, we learn about the Gospel together and read from the scriptures.
