Hi I'm Evan

I've grown up in Utah, I love to help others, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a motorcycle rider. I am the oldest of 4 siblings. I worked at an engineering firm as a durability tester. I am the first of our immediate family to decide to serve a mission. I volunteer with the DNR often. My Dad is a wildlife biologist so I've had many opportunities to work with animals. I love to lift weights and exercise it gives me a boost of happiness to get through or start the day. I also love to go paintballing and shotgun shooting with friends. I also love all kinds of music. I played the piano and the acoustic bass. I now play the bass guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my Mom and Dad were part of the LDS church and when I reached age 8 I wanted to get baptized. I love the Spirit that is present in our church and I want to help others feel that Spirit too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to set an example for others to follow and by supporting others when they are having a difficult time. I try to find scriptures to help and uplift others and myself.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Evan
The missionaries purpose is to "invite others to come unto Christ." So the missionaries will share messages about Christ and Heavenly Father. As the missionaries visit and bring people closer to Christ the burdens of everyday life and feel lighter because of the knowledge that everyone can be forgiven for the mistakes they make.
