Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a student, sister, daughter, and friend. I love life, laughing, and being awkward. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college studying finance. My roommates and I are super awkward and our favorite thing to do is eat ice cream. I love to bake, play the piano, sing off-key in the car, go camping, country swing dance, ride my bike, yell too loud at basketball games, go on evening walks, watch movies, spend time with my family, have spontaneous dance parties, go for drives, eat, and play games. But mostly I just love to laugh! I recently got called to serve as a missionary to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our Heavenly Father's children in Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I live a rich and happy life, because I know who I am. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to return to live with him someday. I know that families can be sealed together for eternity and that this life is not the end. I am so grateful that through the prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord restored His church again upon the earth. The Book of Mormon makes sense and is evidence that God loved and continues to love His children. Each day that I study my scriptures, I feel true joy and peace that can be found nowhere else. As I have learned to rely on my Savior and His Atonement, I have developed a testimony of truthfulness of this gospel. I have been truly converted. I am a Mormon, because this gospel makes me happy.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ has had such a profound effect on every aspect of my life. I strive to study my scriptures daily, go to the temple, attend church to partake of the sacrament, and pray often to my Heavenly Father. I live my faith by being happy. Soon, I will be a full-time missionary and will be serving and teaching the good people of Peru.
