Hi I'm Adam Crotts

I like to fish. I like to camp. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is fishing. I would do it all day, every day, 365 days a year. I also enjoy the gospel. I am single. I am the uncle of two wonderful nieces.

Why I am a Mormon

I got baptized November 22, 2014. I joined the church because I believe that the Book of Mormon is true. You can always feel the spirit in the church. One day, the sister missionaries came to teach me more about the church. They taught me about the Book of Mormon and asked me to pray at the end of the lesson. I prayed, then left the house to go to the store. Something told me to look down. There was a penny on the street. The way the sun was hitting it, the words "In God We Trust" were illuminated. When I saw that, I knew that as long as I trust in God, I can never be left astray.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher. I am the Young Single Adult leader for my ward. And I am the Sunday School Secretary. As I participate in my callings, it makes me feel like I am making a difference.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Adam Crotts
No. Because Joseph Smith was a Prophet who translated the Book of Mormon with the Power of the Priesthood. It's called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This is because we worship Jesus Christ, not Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was important because he was the prophet that restored the church to the earth. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

What is the priesthood?

Adam Crotts

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Adam Crotts
As a new member, I have first-hand knowledge of what the missionaries come to talk to people about. When they came to visit me, they talked about the Book of Mormon and the prophet Joseph Smith. As the lessons continued, I grew stronger in my knowledge about the gospel. They showed me videos on the living prophet, general conference talks, and messages from past prophets of the church.
