Hi I'm Kody

When I was a baby, my parents adopted me from Russia. I grew up in Kanosh, Utah. I know my Savior loves me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 children. I will be serving a mission for 2 years in Fort Worth, Texas. I will be teaching the gospel in American Sign Language. I am deaf and I have spastic dysplagia. I like to have fun with my friends. I enjoy spending time with my family. We live in a small town and we have chickens, guinea hens, sheep, horses, dogs. Sometimes it feels like a zoo around here. I enjoy helping my family do the chores.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the church when they adopted me. I was baptized into the church when I was 8 years old. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me make good deicisions in my life. I had many medical struggles when I was a little boy. Many people fasted and prayed for me so that I would be able to be ok and be able to learn to walk someday. I was able to learn to walk and as the years have gone by, I can now look back and see how My Heavenly Father provided miracles in my life so that I could be adopted and be part of a family. Families are such an important part of our church and I am grateful that I will have my family always, even after death.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being involoved in my community. I enjoy hometeaching. I get to go with my dad to visit. I enjoy sharing the gospel to those we visit. I even get to use my sign langauge with one of the families that we visit.
