Hi I'm Kevin Serage

I grew up in St George UT. I love to play any kind of sports. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always done things a little unconventionally. I finished high school early because I felt like I had learned as much as high school had to offer. I have been working and preparing to serve an LDS mission. I am going to St Louis, Missouri. I am excited to serve the people in the Midwest. I actually have a fair amount of heritage on my Dad's side in Missouri. I have a large family, four brothers, and two sisters. We adopted my younger sister from Kazakstan. I love to play any kind of sports. I am pretty good at most any sport I have tried, but Basketball is my favorite. I also love to play video games and I am pretty good at those too. Magic: The Gathering is my other love. I really like the strategy involved in playing. I have won a few tournaments and that was a lot of fun. I am not sure what I want to pursue as a career choice but I will be focusing on my mission for the next two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith but I didn't really have any solid belief of my own until I was around fourteen. At that time I met a very special man who became my leader at church. He helped me realize that I needed to determine if this Church I was a part of, was everything it professed to be. I began to try to develop a personal relationship with God. As I worked to understand and pray about my religion, I received personal revelation from God that this church contains his gospel in it's fullness. Since then I have felt a great desire to share this knowledge and deepen my own understanding of it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by the example I set for my peers. I have always been actively involved in my church's youth group and I have had the opportunity to hold leadership positions in that organization that have helped me learn, grow and serve. I have been active in the BSA as a part of my church's youth group, although that has been tough for me as I am not a very outdoorsy type.
