Hi I'm Madi

I'm a business student, dancer, sister, and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle child of five, sandwiched between four brothers. I am currently studying business in college and will graduate soon! After graduation I plan to go into leadership training, professional development, management consulting, or process improvement. I love the outdoors: hiking, biking, camping, canoeing/kayaking, picnicking, rock climbing, and canyoneering. I love sports and played soccer in club growing up. Now I play pick up games for soccer, ultimate Frisbee, flag football, volleyball, and tennis. My favorite is music: playing piano, singing, and most importantly dancing! Dancing is my passion. Hip hop, country, ballroom, smooth, Latin.. any kind of dance! The thing I dedicate most of my time doing, however, is service. Nothing brings me more satisfaction in life than spending time helping others. I will serve on an individual level or through an organization, as long as it is meaningful to the recipient. I also love learning and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

The fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the source of joy and peace in my life. It helps me get through the hard times and trials. It is the source of my good and joyous times. The gospel makes me a better person than I would be otherwise. I need the Holy Ghost in my life. I know it is a comfort, guide, and assuring testimony of Christ. I know this church is guided by a living Prophet of God and that his apostles are divinely called. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ! Nothing has brought me greater joy than this gospel.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a daily effort to be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. Being a true disciple requires constant patience, love, charity, service, integrity, and the companionship of the Holy Ghost. I participate in church meetings and activities, study my scriptures, pray and fast, pay tithes and offerings, attend the temple, and serve others. I frequently visit women in the church to share with them a spiritual message, hear about their lives, and act on opportunities to serve them. I also announce various events regarding my local ward so that everyone knows the details of what is going on and can participate. I love making sure everyone feels included. The ward is my family away from home!
