Hi I'm Janet

I am the mother of 7 and grandmother of 16. I taught kindergarten for several years. I love crafts and sewing. I"m a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife, mother and grandmother. I love doing all kinds of crafts and like to try new things. I enjoy making things for others and seeing their happiness and surprise. I enjoy reading and thrift shopping and the beach and mountains. I love teaching, especially children, and taught kindergarten for 6 years. I really like to shop and often do what I call "retail therapy". I like to walk in the mornings and be outside at least some of every day. I especially love springtime with all the buds and flowers and new green growing things. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to true happiness in this life. I am a Mormon because the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is contained in this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The gospel teaches us how to have joy and peace and direction. The commandments are the sign posts of how to live. I love having the peace and comfort of living the gospel and having the freedom that brings. I love knowing about the Atonement of Jesus Christ, that enables us to repent and be clean again and enables us to be good and become better. I know this is Christ's Church on the earth and that we have a prophet who helps us to know how to live and what Christ would have us do. I have been blessed my whole life to have the priesthood in my home, and the great comfort that is to me and my family. I love the "Mormon" church and the people and programs and the chance to serve each other. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

You will find me in Church every Sunday. I have had many callings, serving the children, youth and adult women. I love being around the people in Church and showing love to them. I have been a visiting teacher for many years and have always tried to be a friend to the sisters and make sure I see them every month or even more often. I want the people I associate with to feel loved and thereby feel the love the Savior has for them.
