Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Washington State. I'm a political science major. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to read, boat, and bake. I also love to explore the world around me. I've climbed a mountain and gone spelunking! I am a sophomore in college. I am from a small farm town. I love spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I know that God lives. I know that Christ died for me so that I can repent and come unto him. I have had the Holy Ghost bear witness to me that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. This knowledge that has come from years of trying to live as Christ lived and exercising my faith to have a knowledge of Him. This knowledge is my most cherished possession. I can see the blessings in my life because I choose to walk in His footsteps.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to participate in many positions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in my area. I am able to teach women my age monthly and have the responsibility to plan activities and fun events for the women in my area. I am going to serve a proselyting mission in central Mexico. I will be able to share the gospel and help bring the people in that area to Christ.
