Hi I'm Cecily

Hi I'm Cecily! Sister Missionary serving in Taiwan!!!!

About Me

I lived overseas for 7 years. The first two years of my life were in South Korea, and the other 5 were in Beijing, China. I love rugby, gymnastics, track, and basically all other sports. I found crossfit a couple months ago and I've also loved doing that. I play piano, guitar, and I love singing. I'm going to school at BYU-I and I absolutely love it. I plan on being a dietician but unfortunately BYU-I doesn't have a nutrition program, and after I serve a mission, I will finish an associates at BYU-I then transfer to another school. I absolutely love being a part of this church. And I love love love being a missionary!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon because I know who I am and what is expected of me. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins, and allowed us to be able to return to our Heavenly Father. I know that they know us personally and care about every aspect of our life. They are there to help us and if we believe and follow his teachings, they will always be there to guide us. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore this church to this dispensation. I believe that God is in contact with his followers today, including us personally. He can give us personal revelation if we believe and ask for it. I love this church and I am so grateful for all it's teachings. I am so grateful for the atonement and for my Savior. I am mormon because I love God and believe this is His church. I am mormon because I know who I am and what is expected of me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments and standards given from God. I dress, speak, and act like I would if I were to meet the Savior. Ever since I was young, I have always tried to teach others about the church. I am not afraid to be Mormon. I play piano and I love singing, so I have had many opportunities to share what I believe through the spirit of music. I go to church, I read and study my scriptures, I pray. But most importantly, I don't just have a testimony, I live by it.
