Hi I'm Brendon

I grew up moving across the United States with my family. I currently attend Brigham Young University Idaho and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior in college. I'm going to school to become a Social Studies teacher. I enjoy playing and watching basketball. I'm a weird cross between a Tim Duncan/LeBron James fan. I travel when I can and love to see new places. I am currently engaged to be married to the love of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon becomes The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation. God is our father in heaven and we are his spirit children. He has a plan for us because he loves us. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, his suffering on the cross along with his resurrection from the tomb, I have been forgiven of my sins and have come closer to my father in heaven. The church is a place to help his children come together and serve one another.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve as a missionary for the church in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I meet people that were looking for Christ in their life. I saw peoples lives change as they came unto Christ. Everyone that wants to serve in this church have the opportunity to serve through callings. I currently teach in the Elders in my congregation once a month and I serve in one of the Lords temples once a week.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Brendon
The peace and comfort the that comes from Jesus in hard to explain in world. God the Father is perfect and requires us to be perfect to live with him in Heaven. I am not perfect, no were close. Christ lived a perfect life, he suffered and bought the sins of the world through his suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross. We will all be resurrected because Christ was resurrected.
