Hi I'm Sam

I'm from Switzerland, i speak English, German and French. I like good food, long sleeps and intense Gym visits. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Switzerland and I lived there all my life. I have a younger Brother and older Sister and an older Brother. I love music of all kind, I play the drums in a rock band. I also like to draw and I'm an admirer of art. When I was 18 I found great joy in weightlifting and made it to my hobby. I went to the Gym almost everyday and developed an interest for nutrition and willpower. At the age of 19 I served in the Swiss Armed Forces as a mortar soldier. I wasn't an active member of the Church in my teenage years, but eventually I found my way back.

Why I am a Mormon

I stopped going to church when I was 14 and lived a pretty non-mormon life for the following 4 years. I found back to my Father in Heaven due to an unexpected, peculiar experience I had with the Holy Ghost. A good friend talked me into going to a church camp. I didn't really want to got but I gave in to his plea. During a class we talked about the Prodigal Son. They showed us a video and when I saw the Father embracing his long lost son with tears of joy in his eyes. I could feel the Spirit in such an obvious and intese way that I couldn't longer deny the truthfulness of the church.

How I live my faith

At the moment I'm serving a full-time mission for the Church in Salt Lake City/Ogden. I find joy in living the gospel and my live has been enriched by it. Back home I often looked for opportunities to share my gospel, not to shove it down people's throat but to have cool and spiritual conversations. I really enjoy talking about religion.
