Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in a military family. I'm a dancer, engineer and college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a college student in Utah. I am able to pursue my passions, while getting an education in an uplifting environment. Growing up, I became captivated with dance and participated in it from the age of three. In middle school, my interests expanded to include robotics. Most people find those two things to contradictory, but they have both become huge parts of my life, and I can't imagine my life any different or without the friends I've made in the process.

Why I am a Mormon

My family became active in the church when I was seven. Ever since then, we have attended church and my faith has grown even stronger. Originally, I attended church and had a knowledge of it's truth because of my parents. At the age of fourteen, the youth in my area all traveled to Palmyra, New York and I learned for myself that the church was true. Since then, I have learned that Christ is always there for me and He is the only one who understands and can completely relate to everything I am going through. I know that no matter what I'm going through He knows me entirely, completely, and everything I am have and will be going through. I know that I can turn to Him in any moment and I will always be able to have a friend who cares about and understands me without judgement.

How I live my faith

Daily, I try to be the best I can be and strive to make someone smile. It is by "small and simple things that great things are brought to pass." Doing small little things everyday, like studying my scriptures, spending time with family and attending the temple.
