Hi I'm Lindy

I'm a ballroom dancer and love being outdoors, hiking and photography. I'm studying Communications at BYU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an undergraduate at Brigham Young University studying communications only a short distance from my hometown of Salt Lake City. I have participated and competed in ballroom dance since I was in first grade. I enjoy hiking, running, and photography in the amazing mountains and national parks here in Utah. I have ran track and cross country but have always had a passion for dancing from contemporary and jazz to ballet and ballroom. I have an outstanding family of three sisters and one brother with two of the most amazing parents out there. As I further my education in the fields of advertising, marketing and communications in general I hope to make a difference of how the gospel is shared and seen.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of His atonement is truly the most astounding and real thing I have ever known. I have witnessed it change the lives of others but more importantly I have experienced and felt it change my life. The Book of Mormon is another beautiful testament of Christ and His atonement in my life and there couldn't be a book full of more light and truth.

How I live my faith

As I have grown up in the gospel I have developed a sincere desire to help those around me and share the messages that have blessed and shaped my life. With my study of communications and as social media has continued to become a more integral part of how people share messages I have become intrigued at how the gospel might be shared through it as well. I have served on a number of councils and committees and have helped to plan many activities as a result. I find so much joy through serving in the Church and continue to look to magnify any opportunity to serve that I get the chance to have. My faith has been able to grow from these experiences and continues to shape me into the person that I hope to become, drawing me nearer to Christ and our Heavenly Father.
