Hi I'm Zach

I am from Queen Creek, Arizona. I love basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the England London South Mission. I'm the youngest in my family with two older sisters and I am the only LDS member in my family. I have always been one to try new things because I'm not afraid to take up a challenge. Trying something new stretches us out of our comfort zone and makes us stronger and more confident when we do try something unfamiliar to us. l know it will be hard sometimes, but when does accomplishing something easy ever compare to the feeling of joy, that comes from completing the hardest challenge? In my free time, I love to play basketball and hoping for an opportunity to play when I complete my mission and come back home and pursue a major in exercise science to later venture into the practice of physical therapy. Also, with every chance I get, I love to go camping or participate in outdoor activities.(camping, hiking, fishing, etc.)

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the joy and peace the church gives me. I know that our Heavenly Father has an individual plan for not only me, but also you and each person walking by you in this world. As time has gone by, I have noticed that things in my life run a lot smoother when I put all my faith in the Lord. I have become more confident in myself and I have really grown stronger, not physically, but spiritually by living this faith and doing all that I am asked by Him. This church has truly blessed and changed my life for the better and I will always follow His gospel.

How I live my faith

In the past year, I've had the opportunity to serve as a Family Home Evening Leader. There I, with my fellow leader, helped set up games and fun activities for our groups to enjoy each Monday and Friday night. It was an awesome way to get to know people I wasn't quite acquainted with yet. I also have the opportunity to serve a mission in London, England for the next two years. There, I'll get to share my beliefs and help bring others the message that has affected my life in so many different ways. I'll be able to talk to the people and teach them if they are willing to listen(hopefully). I just want to reach out to everyone and help them come to know the joys in life that come from the church.
