Hi I'm Jamison

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending the University of Utah for Computer Engineering. I love learning more about computers and staying up to date with computer technologies. I enjoy being out in the mountains hiking, camping, hunting, whatever. Most of all, I love going shooting in the desert. I play most sports, but prefer basketball, soccer, skateboarding, and paintballing. I am going on a mission May 27th 2015 to California Redlands.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I have strayed during my teenage years. After going through some trials, I decided I have been missing out on blessings and the Lords help through life. I moved to Utah from Iowa and started my life over at the age of 21. Since then I have returned to full fellowship in the church. I have progressed drastically and felt the love of my Father in Heaven. I make plenty of mistakes still, but have experienced a change of heart and try my hardest every day to be a good person. I know that this is the true church of Christ. I know that making covenants with the Lord and participating in saving ordinances through the power and authority of His priesthood is the way back to Him. I know we can live with our families together for eternity. I know that the Book of Mormon contains the teachings that guide us through life and back to Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am the Elders Quorum secretary in a singles ward and absolutely love my calling. Elders Quorum is an organized group of brethren in the church who are at least 18 years old and hold the Melchizedek Priesthood, or higher priesthood. The primary purposes of quorums are to serve others, build unity and brotherhood, and instruct members in doctrines, principles, and duties. I keep track of reports, hometeaching, and assignments, and any other duties assigned to me. I attend institute at the U every week and enjoy meeting new people and attending classes.
