Hi I'm Amy Rubio

I'm from Dominican Republic. I can play the violin and enjoy learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there, this is Amy, I'm from Dominican Republic. I still live with my parents and my 5 siblings! I can speak 3 languages and I'm in love with Korean culture. Actually, I'm learning Korean! I can play the violin and some guitar. I like to take pictures. I'll be serving on a Mission this year. When I come back, I want to go to college :)

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I have been a member of the Church for all my lifetime, there was a time I started wondering: Why am I a member of this church? And, are all these things true? So I prayed and I felt something so lovely and pacific and I couldn't deny it. I knew it was the Holy Spirit. Even now, after I have gained a testimony, there are times when I feel frustrated and I forget what I have felt, so I pray and I get a response again, another confirmation from the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I've started tracting with the missionaries not so long ago. We're visiting my grandma who's not a member. At first, I must confess I didn't have so much expectations but..., she's attending to the Church! And she's already receiving bleesings. I can see the change in her eyes and she's even more happy. I can't describe how thankful I feel right now.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Amy Rubio
The missionaries teach about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all the human beings. They teach about our Heavenly Father's plan of salvation and why families are so important. Show more Show less
