Hi I'm Judy

I am a devoted wife and mother of six children and twenty grandchildren. I enjoy being a homemaker. I have worked as a secretary.

About Me

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was eight years old. I just know that God's plan for us is true and so, I want to keep his commandments. Family means everything to me. I like to cook, embroidery, work, walk, and camp in the great outdoors. Just enjoying God's creations brings me peace and happiness. Our family likes to get together for fun activities. We enjoy just visiting, cookouts, hiking, and playing games. We also like to celebrate together for holidays and birthdays. My favorite places to vacation were the Unita Mountains, Hawaii, and Disneyland(with family). I like to sing church hymns, read, and listen to classical music, and watch Lawrence Welk. I attended Weber State College and Brigham Young University. I love to help others whenever possible.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, I'm a Mormon as the church is referred to. It's real name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is Christ's church. I love being a member because it brings joy into my life. It helps me to follow Christ's example by being a kinder person and showing love to others. I keep trying each day to be a better person. It is this way of life that gives me hope and faith to some day be able with my family to live with God again eternally. I am a Mormon because it gives direction to my life. I know where I came from and my purpose here on this earth. I also know that death is not the end, but I will live and keep progressing. I love being a part of a family. Much joy and happiness has been a part of my life through learning to serve and love others as a Mormon. I know that God loves me and everyone. My trials have, indeed, been more bearable because I am Mormon and know Jesus Christ is my redeemer and atoned for my sins. Thus, making it possible for me to repent and be forgiven. Life is good.

How I live my faith

My religion is a part of my life each day. I have taught women truths from the scriptures in some of our meetings by accepting callings I have been asked to do. I enjoy helping with service projects who help others who need a helping hand. In the Mormon church we call each other brother and sister because we are all God's children. I visit several sisters in my ward as a visiting teacher. I share a message with them from the scriptures or another message our leaders have given us to share. I love trying to help each sister and being their friend. I love attending Sacrament meeting every Sunday and reflect on what Christ's atonement means to be. That he is my Savior and Redeemer and what source I need to look to for a remission of my sins as I try to keep doing better daily. I have served as a Den Leader in Cub Scouts and loved helping the boys to do their best. It was great to see them do projects and earn advancements and learn core values to help them throughout life.
