Hi I'm Karen

I’m a Mormon (A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), and I live in Provo, Utah.

About Me

My husband and I are the parents of 3 daughters, 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. I grew up here in Utah, although my husband and I during our married life lived in several places which include Northern California, Southern California, Idaho Falls Idaho, and Silver Creek, New York. We moved a few times because of my husband's employment. He worked in the field of construction. I was a stay at home mom during the years our daughters were growing up. Although when they began to attend college, and marry, I went to work at various jobs, and soon decided to attend college to study fine art. I learned the arts of Photography, sculpture, and painting. And for several years I taught private art classes to children and teens. It has been a good life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my faith in God, and in His Son Jesus Christ. I have learned through study and dedication to the Gospel that our families can be together forever, even when we are separated for short periods of time, because of death, work, and educational opportunities. I believe that my family can be happy forever, if we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Mormon Church supports this belief, and provides many programs that teach us about our individual importance to a Father in Heaven, and that He knows each one of us individually and loves us very much.

How I live my faith

Our lives have been great! Thanks to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has brought much joy and happiness into my life. I have taught many different groups in the Church which includes teaching children, teens, and adults, spiritual principles. These opportunities helped me learn, grow and progress. The programs of the church are excellent teaching learning, and leadership opportunities.
