Hi I'm Victoria

I grew up in Washington. I'm a student at BYU-Idaho. I will be serving in the Manchester, New Hampshire Mission, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm the middle Child. I have an older sister, a younger sister, and a little brother. I I love running! In high school I ran Cross Country and Track, I loved every minute of both. I love spending time with my family and friends and learning from them. I want to someday be a teacher so that I can help others understand their limits and potentials. I was born in Utah but my parents Currently live in Washington.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both member of the Church, and raised me in the gospel. However, I am not a member because of their testimonies. I am a member of the Church because I have gained a testimony that it is true for myself. I was baptized when I was eight and believed the church was true, but at that age I don't think I truly knew that the church was true, I only believed it was true. It was not until I prayed sincerely to my Father in Heaven to receive a testimony of these things that I truly gained a testimony. I did not receive a testimony by one miraculous event, it came over time as I acted in faith and trusted in the Lord. Over time I gained a testimony of Joseph Smith and I knew that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and that through Joseph Smith and the power of God, the Book of Mormon was translated. Additionally I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his atonement, I know that this Church has the fullness of the gospel restored upon the Earth today, and that the leaders of this church are called of God. I know that if you have sincere desire to know for yourself if this is true all you have to do is pray to our Heavenly Father. If these things are true the Holy Ghost will burn with in you, and testify to you that these things are true. Through this great power of the Holy Ghost I have received a testimony of many things pertaining to the truths of the gospel, and testify that you can have the same sweet experience if you exercise faith.

How I live my faith

I love sharing the gospel. I am constantly learning new insights and I love sharing those insights with others. I also love how the gospel helps me build up my talents through callings. I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission. I have participated in numerous community service events, some through the church, some through Key club and some on my own. I love getting out and serving people and this has greatly helped me live the gospel more faithfully.
