Hi I'm Talyon

Im a Southern California boy, collegiate rugby player, and im a Mormon.

About Me

Im your typical college kid, I enjoy hanging with my friends and doing anything athletic. From Surfing to motorcycling, ive done it all. My true love is Rugby which i play at the collegiate level for Brigham Young University. When im not at school or with friends im hanging with my parents and my three little sisters. Im currently studying to become a business major in either management or finance.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen what the gospel has done im my life. My Heavenly Father has given me a family here on earth, and given us an opportunity to live with this family for eternity. The gospel has given me the guidance to avoid bad decisions or addictive behaviors. The gospel has given me eternal perspective when i go through trials and hardships in my life. It allows me to understand that i go through trials that i may be able to come closer to God and grow into a better person. I know that through Christ's atonement i can be washed clean of sins and that i never have to go through hardship alone. I am a Mormon because all these things have given me indescribable joy and helped me become the person i am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I serve in my ward as a hometeacher and in my home as a brother/son/priesthood holder. I serve by doing work for my family and others in the temple. I serve in the community, especially with special needs children because of my amazing little sister and her handicaps. I live my faith through service because Heavenly Father has given me so many blessings and happiness in my life, and the only way i can imagine to thank him is by sharing my time and talents with his other children.
