Hi I'm Nicole Karen Godfrey

I love the mountains and being outdoors. I like to make others laugh. I love my family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I love to cook because of the example of my mother. I enjoy music, including singing and playing the piano. I attend college with the intent on entering the field of Dietetics. I love to help others, and find joy in watching them grow and progress. I have overcome many of my own physical challenges, including scoliosis and several knee dislocations. I have traveled as a student ambassador representing the United States to Italy and Greece. I love becoming involved in leadership organizations, and have served in the Latter-Day Saint Student Association at the Institute of Religion where I attend school. I love camping with my family, and spending time enjoying the beautiful scenery my Heavenly Father has created for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I have been blessed with wonderful parents who raised me in the gospel. I truly have a Christ-centered home. I continue to live my faith because I have seen the blessings it has brought to my life. I have the peace, hope, and joy that come from living according the commandments of God. I have experienced trials, but I have also experienced the mercy of a loving Heavenly Father who knows me perfectly, and who continues to lift me up when I fall down. I know this is the true Church upon the Earth in these Latter-Days. It was restored in the fullness by the prophet Joseph Smith. I have read, studied, pondered, and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and received the confirming witness that it is the word of God. I know that through faith, and sincere prayer, the truth of this gospel will be manifest unto those who earnestly seek it. I know we have a living prophet who leads and guides this church today. I know there is a plan laid out for each of us, the Plan of Salvation, which gives hope and knowledge of our purpose here on Earth. I know that through the blessings of the temple, I am sealed to my family for eternity. I am a Mormon. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love this gospel with all of my heart. I know it is true in its entirety.

How I live my faith

I find joy and happiness in the many opportunities I have had to serve in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I served in the presidency of a stake girls camp, and loved the opportunity I had to become an influence for good in the lives of many of our Heavenly Father's daughters. I have served as a Family History instructor, and enjoyed the ways I was able to help others come to know their ancestors. I have served as a Visiting Teaching Coordinator for my ward. I am grateful for the experiences I have had in this calling, to come to know the importance of doing God's work, of helping those in need, and encouraging others to do the same. I have served in the Latter-Day Saint Student Association at the institute of Religion where I attend school. I focus on opportunities to share my beliefs, and ways to encourage others to partake of the blessings of this gospel.
