Hi I'm ANNETTE LEE AVILES

I grew up in Palm Springs Ca, I have 6 children and three grand children . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies are reading and camping, love exploring new areas. I am a mother of six grown children , Did my first seamester of BYU pathways , A online collage course. I help run two OB/GYN offices where we do a lot of women's education from OB care to Lamaze classes and three D ultra sounds . teaching is my passion third in place to my Lord and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church , having serched many and not feeling what I was looking for , till these two young men knocked on our door we invited them in and asked them many questions , they taught of the plan of salvation , we feel a peace we never felt before . I feel my Heavenly Fathers love daily and have a peace I never knew existed before . We are a very busy family with work , school and church functions . our lifes have changed and our children's future have also . I am a mormon I keep the commandments and some times life is tuff But with God and our church family every thing is easier .

How I live my faith

I was a young women's youth teacher at our church for over five years , I am now the third consoler in the stake young women's presidency . I love going to church and coming home feeling great knowing we are a Heavenly fathers child and he loves us all very single one of his children. I get up I pray and get ready for work and try to do some good in the world daily. I love my family and know that even death does not depart us from one another. I volunteer at a crises pregnancy center when I have time and find joy in helping others.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

ANNETTE LEE AVILES
we were raising 6 children at home on 650. a month the church helped my husband get a job and soon I was off to school , the church welfare system was a hand up not a hand out ,m and now we are able to help others like our sleds with tiding, What I love also is we have no paid ministry we are all volunteers and are so blessed for a system that helps us become independent .
