Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up all over the U.S., mostly in Wyoming! I am a Massage Therapist and a Travel enthusiast. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a Travel enthusiast, I love going on adventures and discovering new places! Hiking, camping, fishing, singing, dancing, skydiving (yes I've been), going to movies, plays, musicals, really anything that allows me to live this life to the fullest I will try once! I have 9 siblings; 3 biological, 4 step, 1 half, and i am so blessed to have them all in my life!! I love all that life has to give and welcome it with open arms as much as i can! I am a Professional Licensed Massage Therapist, and i am looking forward to going to school to be an elementary education teacher!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of Christ. That it is the true Church restored on this earth! I know this because I have felt it. I have prayed to know of the truths as I was being taught by the Missionaries, and I got the answer that, yes what I was being taught is true, and this is the true Church, that Christ is the head of it. When I was going through the lessons with the Mormon Missionaries I wasn't always 100% sure that this is what I wanted to do with my life or this was the direction that I wanted to go, but I could never deny the Spirit that I felt during the lessons. I now know without a doubt in my mind that this is the true Church of Christ, that He is the head of this church and that this is where I need to put my faith and that is why i am Mormon. Not for someone else or because someone told me I should, but because I have personally studied and prayed to find the truth. Because I prayed with an open heart and an open mind, Heavenly Father testified to me through the Holy Ghost that this is where I need to be, that this church is where I belong in the world. No matter where we go in the world the Church is the same, the teachings are the same, the people are the same, because we all believe the same things. When I move towns i don't have to go searching for a new church to attend. I don't have to get used to a new way of being taught or a new way of life, I just have to go and find the Church building closest to me and I know I will be welcomed with open arms and smiles on everyone's faces as if I was an old friend. That is why I am Mormon. and I wouldn't change that for the world!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by applying what I learn to my daily life. There are many ways that we can live what we have been taught. I like to lend a helping hand when I get the chance, weather it be helping someone carry groceries inside, giving someone a ride when they are in need, encouraging someone to continue on the right path or just sending someone a note when I've been thinking about them. I know that the people in my life have been placed there by Heavenly Father to teach me or for me to teach them in one way or another. I try not to take anyone for granted, I know that each person has their own trials that they are going through so I try to let them know that I appreciate them every chance I get. I feel that every chance we get we should share the gospel with people and show them that we know its true and we know that we have a loving Heavenly Father. I love that we get to visit with or fellow members of the church and share what we are learning or ask each other questions so that we can continue to learn and grow in the gospel. I love that I can read my scriptures every day and that through doing this I can show others that I have a love for this gospel that is so strong that I am willing to shout it from the rooftops!
