Hi I'm Jeff Hansen

I am a dual-enroll student between my high school and the community college in town. I love to play ping pong and Frisbee.

About Me

I am a Sophomore in High School. I love to play ultimate frisbee with friends. I love to ski with my brother on Saturdays. I also play tennis in High School. I spend large amounts of time finishing my large amounts of homework from. I love food (especially brownies).

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for us. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, bled for us in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lives today, loves us, and cares for us. He is absolutely concerned with every aspect of our life, and he wants to help us. Life is very difficult, and our Savior is waiting for us to come to him. Like a mother helping a child up when they fall, Jesus Christ waits for us to put our faith in him. As I have read my scriptures daily, as I pray daily, and as I attend church weekly, I have felt the Holy Spirit personally testify to me that the Savior lives, and the Holy Spirit has personally told me this church is true. It is difficult to not follow Christ when His spirit has personally touched you. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's restored gospel on the earth today. Joseph Smith like the prophets of the bible, was a true prophet who received revelation from our Father in Heaven. I know the Scriptures are the word of God, and as we read them daily, we will have the Lord's Spirit more fully in our life.

How I live my faith

The best example I have demonstrating how I live my faith is through my normal daily routine. Every morning I wake up at 5:30 to get ready for early-morning seminary. This is an LDS provided bible study class before school. Around 12 when my classes get over, I usually spend an hour studying my scriptures. I love the scriptures very much and feel more motivated and happy after reading them. I also attend an evening Institute class (very similar to early-morning seminary, but for young single adults). Finally, my family gets together and we read the scriptures and kneel together in prayer every evening before we each go to bed. I also attend Mutual (youth group) every Wednesday, and I attend church for three hours every Sunday.
