Hi I'm Judith

I was born and raised in Utah. I come from a family of 12. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in college. I love to read, write, play my ukulele, watch baseball, sing, longboard. I also love spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of members of this church. I grew up going to church and learning about this gospel. I never thought to question the things that I learned, I just accepted them as truth. However, I don't think I ever fully appreciated the glorious blessing that this gospel is in my life until I turned twelve and went to my first young woman's camp and bore my testimony around the camp fire. I testified of the power of prayer and told of the countless times my Heavenly Father had heard me and answered me. I knew then that Heavenly Father was aware of his children and knows and loves them all individually. I believe that I built a foundation on Christ that day and ever since I have been adding blocks and building my testimony. I knew since I was young that I wanted to serve a mission. As the time I could serve got closer, I asked myself why I wanted to go. The strongest, most overwhelming desire for me to serve, was to give people an opportunity to know that they have a Heavenly Father who is very much aware of them, and loves them perfectly. As well as a knowledge that they are not, nor ever have to feel alone at any time in this life. I don't think that it is fair for me to know the pathway back to my Heavenly home, and not share it with all my brothers and sisters. I know this church is true, and I could not possibly deny it. I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

In the singles ward I currently attend, I am one of five ward missionaries. What we try to do as ward missionaries is meet together to talk about who we can help and who in our ward or area would benefit most from our service. We try to reach out to those who are less active or non-members and invite them to come unto Christ. I am, with my companion, a visiting teacher for two lovely girls from the ward. I have found that as I try to be an instrument in my Heavenly Fathers hands by offering service to others, the closer I feel to my Savior Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven.
