Hi I'm Kayla

I have been called to serve a mission in Santiago, Chile. I believe women can - and should - shoot for the stars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love public speaking, table decorating, debating, photography, traveling, cooking, politics, law, quotations, writing, reading, dancing, and music. I am an only child and I absolutely adore my awesome parents. My extended family has been an extremely important part of my life, and I am so grateful for their support and involvement. I attend a high school with only 2 other Mormons, so I have grown to appreciate members of many different faiths and enjoy participating in interfaith activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. My religion brings me peace, strength, inspiration, guidance, and hope. Fundamentally, I am a Mormon because I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. The way I feel when I am studying the gospel is the way I want to feel all the time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it often. Many of my friends have heard quite a bit about my faith and have become familiar with my standards. Because I have been a member my entire life, the various habits that I have that center around my faith seem like second nature to me. I do not drink coffee, tea, or alcohol, I dress modestly, pay my tithing, pray often, read my scriptures, and bear my testimony on a frequent basis. I spend time with my family and I try my best to give service to those around me. I also attend church regularly, which blesses my life and brightens my perspective.
