Hi I'm Jessica

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my free time I love to play soccer. I had the opportunity to play on my high school team and I went on to play a year in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teaching of this church bring so much happiness to my life. This church gives me a knowledge of what my purpose is in this life. I would be completely lost without this church. I know that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and that he restored the only true church to the earth today. I know that he translated to Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Thomas S Monson is the prophet called on the earth today. I know that he holds all the priesthood keys for the church. I know that the priesthood has real power and that if we do everything we can and have faith in its power that it can do anything. I know that the power of prayer is real. I have had many prayers answered in my life. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who is mindful of me and will do anything for me as long as I do everything I can. I know that I have a savior, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins. I know that he is always right there ready and willing to help me with anything I need help with. I know that we have commandments for a reason and that if we keep them all to the best of our abilities that we will be blessed for it. I know that this church is true and I am so grateful for it in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of Jesus Christ. While I had the opportunity to play college soccer the girls that I interacted with saw something different about me and they asked me questions about my faith. I was able to live my faith by talking to them about why I behave the way I do and why I have the standards that I have. It was rewarding to be able to share that part of my life with them.
