Hi I'm Kenna

I grew up in Portland, OR. Went to BYU I, met my husband, moved to Washington, and started our forever family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I love getting out and adventuring with my kids. We love being outside and exploring, playing games, playing sports, going to museums, the YMCA and all their fun classes and work outs, doing preschool at home, playing with friends, and so so much more. We are always going and doing and I love it. We are huge Sounders (soccer) fans. Any chance we can get to go to a match we take it. My husband and I get together with friends at least twice a week to play soccer. We also love coaching our kids soccer teams each year. Soccer is a big part of our lives. I love dancing. I started dancing when I was about 8 and have not stopped. Although I am not on a team anymore or dance professionally I take every opportunity to dance with my kids and my husband. And love to Zumba the night away. I also love running and have passed that passion onto my kids. Each year we do a few family runs together and really enjoy it. We love making and collecting family memories!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home that was LDS. I was taught at a young age about the gospel and what it means to live it. I was always happy living the standards of our church. I never questioned my happiness until college, where I gained my full testimony of the church. I needed to leave my family and life that I knew to unknowns and questions. Being in a new place allowed me to ask the Lord questions I never had before. Asking him whether or not I believe in this gospel and this path. I am Mormon because I choose to be. I am Mormon because I have had answers to my prayers. I am Mormon because I know their is a living prophet on this Earth that speaks to us. I am Mormon because it brings me peace and happiness. I am Mormon because I cannot imagine a day in this life without the gospel and without the opportunity for forever.

How I live my faith

I am in charge of all the children under 12 in our ward and love every second of it. We have a big group an average attendance of 80-90 kids. And I can honestly say I love every single child. I get to watch little miracles happen every Sunday and feel the amazing Spirit the children have. They have been a great example to me and how I should live my life. Together we work on becoming better people. I get to have a lot of fun with the children. We have had fun runs, talent shows, Easter Egg hunts, BBQ's, Water parties, and so much more. I am often thinking of the children and how we can grow and learn together, how I can be of help to them and their family, what they need, happy memories we have had, and more. They are always on my mind. And I am blessed because I know them and their families. I also visit wonderful women in my ward that have become true friends. We lean on each other and help each other. We can talk about problems and happy moments in our lives. Being able to have friends that I can rely on has been an amazing blessing in my life.
