Hi I'm Ami

I'm a college student. I like to travel. Music is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college, and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I love working with children and I'm so excited to teach! I love to travel and visit new places, because different cultures fascinate me. Music is my passion, and I love going to concerts and listening to new music. I am also learning how to play the piano, which has been a lifelong dream of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have the peace in my life that the Gospel brings me. Because I am a member of this Church, I am blessed beyond measure. My family is sealed to me for time and all eternity, and I am so excited that I get to be with them forever because I love them so much! I choose to be a part of this Church because I know that it brings me true happiness. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me, and that if I continue to follow the teachings and guidelines of the church that I will be following His plan. I want to always have this peace and happiness in my life, so I will always strive to come closer to Christ by living my life in a way that He would be proud of. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father, and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins, so that we may repent for everything we have ever done wrong and become clean again. I know that we were sent to this earth to gain experience, but that ultimately we want to live our lives so that we can return to live with God. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith, and that it testifies of Jesus Christ. I have experienced firsthand the blessings that come through reading the Book of Mormon, and it brings me peace, joy, and comfort. I am grateful for my testimony, and for the knowledge that I am never alone, because Heavenly Father loves me, and is involved in every detail of my life. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every sunday and giving service to others. One way I give service is though visiting teaching, where I visit with women in my ward and get to know them better. I know that service blesses our lives, and I feel closer to Christ when I serve.
