Hi I'm Lindsay

I am a full-time missionary. I love my family. I love my religion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and have received my mission call to the Thailand Bangkok mission. I love to play and the teach the piano, even if it is only to one student! I love spending time with my family more than anything and probably spend just as much time at home as I do at my own apartment. I love to read Jane Austen, and any other book for that matter. I love food, probably more than I should. Recently I have gained a new found love for step aerobics and kickboxing! More than anything though, I love this gospel and all the happiness it brings me everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be raised in this church and I have loved being a part of it for as long as I can remember. Now that I am moved out of my house and am one my own, I have only learned more and more that it is only through this church that I can find true happiness. I love the teachings. I love the emphasis on families. I know that after this life, I can someday be with my sister, my grandpa, friends and other family members who have passed on. I love the members and the friendships I have made with those who share the same faith. I know that Jesus Christ loves me and died for all of my sins. I love the teachings of prayer and I know that Heavenly Father answers them because I have seen answers to even the most simple prayers. There are some things that I don't fully understand, but I know enough to know with a surety that this is the true church on earth today. I will never doubt that.

How I live my faith

I have found that it is through simple things every day that I am able to stay true to my faith. Through the small things like daily scripture study and prayer I can have better days. Service is another way that I am able to live what I believe. I always strive to remember my potential and that I am a child of God. When I remember who I am, I know that I can stay true to what I believe.
