Hi I'm Anna

I'm an Arizona native. I enjoy making music, reading Russian literature, eating mangoes, and spending time with my family.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University. Currently studying communications, I love learning about the lives and cultures of the people around me. I play four instruments, including harp and organ, and I enjoy sharing my talents. I plan on spending the next eighteen months of my life serving a mission to Fiji.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but didn't gain my own testimony until I studied the scriptures on my own. I read each work at an early age. Although I didn't understand everything I read the first time around, I felt happier when I devoted time to learning more about Jesus Christ and His gospel. As I continued to study the scriptures, I developed my testimony and my relationship with my Heavenly Father through prayer. I now know He loves me and each of His children, and being a Mormon allows me to better serve and connect with those around me.

How I live my faith

Each month, I prepare a lesson for church, and I teach the young women in my ward. I learn from each of them as we participate in active group discussions, and I do my best to listen and respond carefully to each question they may have. In my own life, I make time to study the scriptures and pray in order to understand what the Lord wants me to do. By doing this, I make myself a better person each day, and I feel satisfied with what I accomplish.
