Hi I'm Kiersten Wendt

I grew up in New York. I'm addicted to mountains. I love peanut butter m&ms. I'm a redhead, I'm a missionary- I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up just north of NYC in Middletown, New York. Now I live in the Flathead Valley in northwest Montana- just minutes away from Glacier National Park:) I am a middle child out of 6 kids. I'm currently serving in the Utah Salt Lake City West Mission until September 2016. When I get home I plan on coming back to Utah for school, though I'm not quite sure which school yet! I love all music and play a few different instruments. My favorite music to listen to is basically 90's rock, vintage hip hop, and jazz. I love to hike, canoe, play piano, and I ADORE tennis. Lovin' life, serving Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were raised Mormon, so I was lucky enough to be born into the church. It was a little difficult learning to rely on my own testimony instead of the faith of my parents, but as I've learned more for myself, I know without a doubt that this truly is Christ's church restored in the latter days. I continue to be a member of this church because it gives me the opportunity to be with my family forever. I know that our Heavenly Father blessed us with this gospel because He loves us and wants us to be happy, and that is ultimately what I am striving for as a member of the church. Following the Lord's commandments and being a member of the LDS church provides me with the opportunity to be happy not just in this life, but for eternity.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I live my faith is just by serving in the callings I'm given. Before my mission I was a primary worker and the primary pianist, and I swear that has got to be one of the best callings ever! It's so much fun getting to teach and see these kids grow in the gospel. I absolutely love love love my primary kids!
