Hi I'm Spencer

I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a professional basketball player in Europe. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in small town in Idaho. I always dreamed of playing professional basketball. For the last ten years I've been able to live and travel throughout Europe with my wife and children while I play basketball. When I'm not working, I love spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe, "The Lord has more in mind for you than you have in mind for yourself" (Elder Russell M. Nelson). God wants to be actively involved in our lives. If we allow Him in, He will guide and direct us through our lives. Throughout my life I have felt closest to God when I follow the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. These teachings, the teachings of the Savior, have brought me a peace and confidence that endures through good times and also through hard times. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day of the week. The overall purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ is happiness. I try and live my faith by being a positive influence and example to those around me. I believe my daily interactions with people I know, or complete strangers, give me opportunities to live my faith. How we treat others is a reflection of who we are and who we are trying to become. When we serve those around us with a kind word or a helping hand, we are becoming more like our Savior. It's important to me that I try to be a light that points others to Christ.
