Hi I'm Kamee

I attend BYU-Idaho. I will soon serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my second to last semester of my undergrad at Brigham Young University- Idaho. I am studying Marriage and Family Studies, and preparing to serve a mission. When I get back from my mission I plan on attending graduate school and becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. I find great joy in helping others, which has guided my career plan goals.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes life gets hard. Sometimes we find ourselves in a dark place with seemingly no one to turn to. I was raised in this church, but have strayed at times. I have made many mistakes, and I have come to realize is that I am never alone. My loving Heavenly Father is always there for me, listening to my prayers and helping me on my way. He sent His son, Jesus Christ to atone for me. He has cheered me on, wiped away my tears, lifted me up, and understood everything that I have been through.I have felt the peace that comes as I have repented for some big mistakes I have made in my life. I have also come to realize that the atonement isn't just there when we mess up. The healing power of the atonement can heal a broken heart. Because of this, I am happy. The Book Of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I have read it for myself and found it's contents to be true. I know that whoever searches for truth through this book will find it!

How I live my faith

I believe in prayer. It is the most powerful form of communication between two beings. It is real. I do my best to read my scriptures. In a world full of chaos, I am so thankful for the peace I am able to feel as I read. I attend church meetings on Sunday that carry me through each week. I pray each day for an opportunity to serve someone. I have found that as I serve others, I also benefit.
