Hi I'm Drew

I grew up in Florida, moved to Orem Utah, I love playing guitar. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Florida and had a lot of fun in the sun. I moved to Utah and back to Florida several times but am now in Utah and am here for good! Playing guitar, biking, running, and listening to amazing music are just a few of my many hobbies that I enjoy. By the time you read this I will already be on my full-time two year mission to Argetina, Bahia Blanca, to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will be attending college and working when I return. The gospel is such a crucial part of my life and I love living it! There was a time in my life when I stopped going to church and was heading down the wrong path, but through the help of some amazing people and the atonement of Jesus Christ I am now actively attending church, and am the happiest I have ever been in my life. The gospel really brings true joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know and have a firm testimony that this is the only true church on earth. I feel the spirit all of the time and I may sometimes take that for granted but I shouldn't. It is so extremely important to me that I have the gospel in my life and that I share my joy with others. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is the most important book on earth. It is another testament of Jesus Christ and coincides with the Bible. I have been a part of the church my whole life but didn't gain a full appreciation for it until I got it back. I say this because when my parents got divorced, I stopped attending church or would go off and on but nothing really consistent. My young men's leader came to my house after finding out I was in the ward boundaries and just simply became friends with me and invited me to activities. I started to go back to church regularly and straightened out my life. I am now the happiest I have ever been and am about to embark in serving a full time mission to spread the joy of the gospel to others.

How I live my faith

I am about to embark on a full-time, two year mission to Bahia Blanca, Argentina where I will be sharing the gospel with others ad helping them come unto Christ. Before starting the amazing journey of becoming a missionary, I would help around my community by doing service projects and more importantly, being a friend to those meet. One example of this is when I go home-teaching. I go to a few families each month and bring them a message, or lesson, and see how they're doing and if they need anything at all. Being a Latter-Day-Saint, I am part of a large community of people willing to help each other out whenever in need with whatever I may need help with.
